This is it. The summit of Aguille Du Midi. We made it, albeit with a touch of altitude sickness. On the left is the ice tunnel and those guys are queuing up to either ski back down or climb on up to the summit of Mont Blanc. Rather them than me, I walked up to the gate and peered over and it looked pretty perilous !
The image above shows the view looking south. Those mountains just go on forever.
