A dramatic view of the shingle ridge of Porlock Bay as seen from the summit of Bossington Hill. A combination of stormy weather and high tides have allowed the sea to breach the ridge and flood the marshland beyond. This is not a rare occurence and in fact is necessary to maintain the fertility of the marsh.
